Help with WordPress February 23, 2007

Filed under: Family and Friends,Miscellaneous — amygeekgrl @ 10:46 am

Anyone know why I would suddenly stop receiving email notification when I get a comment? I have the box checked to email me whenever someone leaves a comment, but a couple days ago I stopped getting emails even though I’ve received new comments. Ideas? I’ve tried looking it up on the WordPress site, but didn’t get anywhere.

Thanks!

By the way, with the weather being somewhat nice lately (though snow is expected tomorrow – bah!), we’ve gone to the park the past three days. I haven’t been spending much time on the computer, so no new posts of any relevance.

We’re going to go play a friend’s house this afternoon, then pick Jody up from work and maybe go out to dinner. Then tomorrow we’ve got a 3-year-old’s birthday party to attend at a place called “BounceTown.”  Should be a good time for Ava. 🙂

Check your spam filter. One of mine got stuck in there yesterday. But today I am missing another one and I can’t find it anywhere…so maybe they’re having an issue?

I just moved to wordpress from blogger about 2 months ago and wordpress has just been the best! If you ever have any questions… contact support, they will email you back right after and they are very good and will get your problem fixed, and fast!
    Hope that helps!

Thanks for the suggestions Caroline and Tyler.

Apparently all I needed to do was say “Help” because now it is working again. 🙂 Yay!

I’ve been having comment issues too. People not being able to post them, my not being alerted to them, or the alert being delayed. So it’s not just you! Support is really good if you choose to contact them.

I’m stilll on Blogger, and had the same problem. Turns out my ISP changed spam filters. Definitely check out that if it turns out to not be a WordPress issue.
